Disc 4 of 7 from “The Decade Box, A 10-Year Retrospective”, a seven CD box set which spans the decade from 1977 through 1987.
This previously unreleased album features fusion and new wave beginnings with Brian Groover, Todd Nero, Tim Smith and John Trevethan, plus Duane Hill on the live tracks. UXB was a finalist in the Miller High Life “Rock To Riches” talent contest in 1982. Their original song “No Way Out” was featured on the K104 Rock To Riches album, and enjoyed local radio airplay on K104 throughout the summer. Guitarist / vocalist Tim Smith passed away on October 31st, 2009. Tim’s musical talent was extraordinary, and a tribute to his music can be found at Bandcamp.
